Recommendation A

After bleaching and dyeing, hair is prone to becoming porous, fragile, and easily dehydrated; common issues such as dryness and lack of luster need to be taken care of by incorporating deeply hydrating, repairing, and restorative ingredients in the hair care routine.

When picking a shampoo, it is best to stay away from formulas containing strong surfactants (such as SLS), as they have a greater chance of washing away the bleaching and dyeing pigments and irritating sensitive and fragile scalps. A shampoo with a mildly acidic pH value is more suitable for use; such acidic solutions are gentle on the scalp and lock in the hair color, making it last longer.

During regular hair care, high temperatures can quickly strip the scalp of its moisture, and the bleaching agent pigments will quickly dissipate, making the hair color fade faster. A heat-protecting spray applied prior to drying with warm air will prevent this.

Recommendation B

Many people experience an oily scalp during the summer months, which can result in an unpleasant smell. Overwashing can worsen the issue, as traditional shampoos with strong cleaning properties (like those containing SLS) may strip away natural oils from the scalp. The best option is to use a shampoo with a milder formula to reduce scalp irritation while preserving natural oils. Additionally, it is recommended to shampoo twice per wash, starting with an initial rinse to wash away dirt and oil before delving into a deeper cleanse. Hot water should be avoided, as this can lead to increased scalp dryness and higher oil production.

Recommendation C

Having long hair with the problem of an oily scalp is certainly a difficult situation to deal with. It's important to choose the right products that focus on the needs of the scalp rather than just the hair, so as to not overload it with extra moisture. Traditional shampoos containing harsh ingredients such as SLS can cause over-cleaning and loss of the natural oils the scalp requires, so opt for milder cleansing formulas that will not irritate the scalp and still preserve the necessary oils. A shampoo with added nourishing ingredients to help weak hair, adding elasticity and volume, while helping detangle it, is an ideal choice.

It is suggested to shampoo twice when washing, the first time removing the oil and dirt from the scalp and hair, and the second time giving a deep cleansing to the hair. Furthermore, try to use lukewarm water when washing, as hot water will just lead to a dryer scalp and more oil production. If the ends of your hair are dry, use a hair conditioner or hair oil to give it back its bounce and shine. For days when you don't want to wash your hair, use a dry shampoo to remove excess oil and provide it with an invigorating boost of volume.
